How to Organize Your School Locker

Organizing A School Locker:

When a teenager finally receives their own locker at school, they are thrilled. No more having to carry around tons of heavy books to every class. However, soon they find that the locker quickly fills up with stuff and soon it is hard to access or even find what they are looking for.

There are several ways to organize one's locker and even more ways to personalize it. The first important step is to decide how the books are going to be stacked in the locker. If there are more than say, 3 or 4 books, one should buy a locker book shelf. This is a small platform on tiny legs that allows you to have an extra place to put some books so that you don't have to grab for the bottom book in a 50lb. pile.

There are also magnetic locker hooks that you can hang in your locker, these can hold office slips, notes, pictures, even assignments and much more. Plain magnets might work too. Magnetic staplers help organize a school locker. If you really want your locker to be really organized, there are even little magnetic staplers etc, that can some in quite handy. Plus, something useful for girls: the magnetic locker mirror. Magnetic school locker mirror with tray.Almost every girl at my school has one of these. They protect you from a bad hair day or spinach in your teeth. People who don't have a mirror in their own locker can sometimes be seen standing behind someone at their own locker and glancing quickly into that person's mirror.

Going further than organization, a school locker deserves to look nice. You can treat it like your room. Put up posters or photos, calendars, maybe even your own artwork. Some people with a creative vision brought in a spare square foot of carpet from their house and made it the floor of their locker. This is actually useful to because the books are not quite as banged up and can be pulled out easier.

Sometimes, on birthdays, friends, who know the locker combination to the birthday-girl's or boy's locker, will wrap the door of their locker with wrapping paper and even hang balloons on it. Then people will always know whose birthday it is and can sign the wrapping paper with their best wishes. However, locker combinations should be given out only to the best and most trustworthy friend. Hopefully, these tips help you in making your own school locker organized and personalized!
