Why Is Gossip Girl So wonderful?

Although some people think that Gossip Girl is just a OC copy, this show has a totally new dynamic. It does have many of the things we loves about the OC: fights, passion, drugs, DRAMA, the circle of rich socialites and a huge rumor mill, but it all takes place on the East Coast and most of the clever remarks come from the omnipresent, but mysterious Narrator: Gossip Girl. This may be the one show where the title character gets the most screen time. Each character has their own battles to face whether it is dependency, suicide, family pressure or an eating disorder. There are aspects of this show that are over dramatized (but duh! it's a drama), but there is at least one issue that every teen can relate too. Then there is the playful side of life which we get a glimpse of each show to remind us how these upper-east-siders make it through the day.

Miley Cyrus is a talented singer and because she is young she has a tough time keeping these lives seperate. This show is about basically her fictional self trying to be both a famous pop-star and a normal girl. This is the new generation Lizzy Mcguire and has reached phenomenal heights with the current tweens.
